NAI Hiffman contracted Harbour for the Oakbrook Promenade lifestyle center project in the Village of Oak Brook near the heart of its shopping district. The assignment involved demolition services for the existing buildings and 12-acres of site development. The project is valued between $17-20M and includes a 160,000 SF retail structure with an expected finish date of November 2006.

Harbour provided the demolition of existing buildings on the future site for the high-end Oak Brook Promenade Center. The project consisted of challenging reconstructions and additions to the existing underground parking, a new parking garage, four new Class-A retail buildings, and streetscape construction. The center was a work-in-progress for the owner, and Harbour guided them through redesigning their layout and plans to appeal to today’s marketplace. The low-key, open-air shopping center consists of several high-end retail storefronts and restaurants, including national chains McCormick &amp, Schmick’s, and Kona Grill.
