We are proud that our employees often take it upon themselves to give back to their communities and serve on various levels however they can. From donating their time to donating their money, our people make our community strong and dynamic. We understand our impact as community builders and realize that the more we can provide to local charities and organizations in their time of need, the better our communities can become.

We are happy to provide support to a variety of organizations, including Easter Seals, March of Dimes, City of Hope, After School Matters, Iowa Disaster Recovery, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Will & Grundy Counties, Cornerstone Services, Inc., Regional CARE Association, Guardian Angel Community Services, Lamb’s Fold Center for Women & Children, Boy Scouts of America, the Chicago Blackhawks Alumni Association, the Northern Illinois Food Bank, and many others.

2022 DARE Golf Outing – September 2022

We proudly sponsor and attend the 2022 DARE Golf Outing at the Edgebrook Golf Club in Sandwich, Illinois. Our teams have been working on-site constructing the new Public Safety Complex for the Village and expect the project to reach completion within the next month.

Third Annual Chicago Police Hockey Golf Outing – September 2022

At the Maple Meadows Golf Club, we are happy to sponsor the Third Annual Chicago Police Hockey Golf Outing! Harbour is fortunate to be able to help raise money for the club to assist in future charitable endeavors. The Chicago Police Hockey Club is a 501 (c)(3) Non-Profit Charitable Organization comprising over 60 members across four teams, including active and retired Chicago Police Officers of all ranks.

Romeoville Park Party – September 2022

The Village of Romeoville hosted a Community Day of Play at Rotary Park on the 8th of September, and we were proud to help sponsor the family-fun event!

Romeoville Food Fest 1-Mile Race – August 2022

We are thrilled to sponsor the Village of Romeoville’s Food Fest 1-Mile Race on August 6th. Our teams are actively building the Romeoville Aquatic Center and Splash Pad estimated to be completed in Spring 2023. After completion, the race offers a fun food tasting with samples including pizza, ice cream, fries, hot dogs, nachos, smoothies, churros, mozzarella sticks, and more! Runners and walkers 21+ will also receive a sampling of beer and a 16oz pour from Metal Monkey Brewing. We are proud to support the Village of Romeoville!

DuPage County Regional Business Outlook Session – June 2022

Zachary Harbour attended the DuPage County Regional Business Outlook Session for various great speeches, outlooks, and inspiration from Dan Cronin, Cara Esser, Tim Crane, and Jarrett Payton. Valuable perspectives were shared, and a motivational look at the future focusing on working together for a better tomorrow was instilled.

Illinois Supreme Court Justice Michael J. Burke Networking Event – May 2022

We hosted an exclusive networking event with a special guest speaker, Illinois Supreme Couty Justice Michael J. Burke. We had a great turnout, enjoyed delicious catering from Angeli’s in Naperville, and tapped a few local Plainfield Werk Force Brewing Co. kegs. We would like to thank everyone who was able to attend or donate; we genuinely appreciate every single one of you!

McHenry County Sheriff Robb Tadelman – May 2022

Harbour’s Vice President, Zachary Harbour, was pleased to attend and support Robb Tadelman at the golf outing on May 9th in McHenry County!

Hockey Players in Business – April 2022

Zach Harbour connected with the Chicago Hockey Network in April 29th’s adult hockey Beanpot tournament for Hockey Players in Business Night! Hockey Players in Business is a networking association organized as a not-for-profit with chapters worldwide.

Illinois Institute of Technology – April 2022

Harbour was proud to announce that our Vice President, Zachary Harbour, was invited again to provide architectural reviews at the Illinois Institute of Technology! As an IIT Alum, Zach was highly honored to be asked again and assist with the student review process and provide his real-world industry insights from both an Architect and Contractor perspective.

Marine Corps. Scholarship Foundation’s Chicago Dinner – October 2021

The Chicago Dinner is a yearly event working to ensure that every child of a severely injured Marine or Navy Corpsman has the chance to pursue the American dream their parents served to defend. The Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation was established to honor the service and sacrifice of Marines and their families. The Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation helps cover the cost of attending post-high school, undergraduate, and career and technical education programs. Bohne Foundation Golf Outing – September 2021

Harbour attended the 2021 golf outing for The Bohne Foundation, a global charity dedicated to feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, comforting the destitute, and encouraging the hopeless while aiding the neediest members of our global community.

Charitable Contributions at the Braceville Cemetery

Braceville Gardner Cemetery – July 2021

In July of 2021, with the initiative and heart of a member of our rail team and his family, Harbour was allowed to help improve the grounds of the Braceville Gardner Cemetery. The cemetery is located at 7295 East Braceville Road in Braceville, Illinois. Jay’s wife lost her son, Gavin, 15 years ago, and this year, Jay opted to celebrate Gavin’s life and legacy by donating time, efforts, and resources towards necessary cemetery improvements. At the Braceville Gardner Cemetery, Jay focused efforts on filling in hazardous low areas and potholes, using the stone ordered by Harbour and the company’s skid-steer loader.

Special Connections of Grundy County – August 2021

The non-profit organization provides social activities for people of all ages and disabilities in and around Grundy County, Illinois. The program’s mission is to connect people with disabilities to their community through social interactions, education, and recreational opportunities.

AHAI Foundation Golf Outing – August 2021

The Amateur Hockey Association Illinois (AHAI) Foundation Golf Outing allowed Harbour to provide support by teeing off on the green.

Mokena Mayors Charity Foundation 30th Annual Golf Outing – August 2021

The foundation was founded in 1991 as a philanthropic endeavor that has raised and distributed over $360,000 to local civic and charitable organizations benefiting seniors, youth groups, veterans, and individuals with special needs and three annual college scholarships for Mokena students.
