Harbour Contractors, Inc. has been the contractor of choice for the Chicago O’Hare International Airport since it was selected for the addition of International Terminal 5 in the late 1990s. Currently, Harbour is serving as a Construction Manager for the $6.5 Billion O’Hare Modernization Program. The project consists of the realignment of the airport’s runway configuration and the construction of additional runways to free the airport of the current cap limiting the number of flights per day.

The program also involves the relocation of a railroad along with the expansion of its current light rail system, the O’Hare Area Transit System. The final phase of the OMP project plans for the addition of a west terminal, ring road, and the completion of the Elgin-O’Hare Expressway.
