OVERVIEW
Constructing Twenty Maintenance Bays for WM
WM hired Harbour to design-build their Chicago regional vehicle maintenance facility and maintenance division’s administrative offices. The building included (20) full-service state-of-the-art maintenance bays, (2) vehicle wash bays, and new administrative offices for the maintenance staff.
Sustainability and Certification
Upon completion, the project streamlined WM’s area-wide maintenance program by providing a centrally located facility while achieving LEED Certification on the site lighting from the USGBC. Harbour successfully managed and designed all vehicle lifts and maintenance bay equipment for this Stickney project.
