OVERVIEW

In 2016, Harbour designed and built a new reconfiguration of Stepan Chemicals rail yard, which was having issues with limited space. We installed 4- #8 turnouts, 4- # 10 turnouts, 2,700 115 lbs. tracks and redesigned the existing layout to create more efficiencies with shipping and receiving improving on logistics. In 2019, Harbour designed and built a new Rail and Truck loading/unloading secondary containment systems, including new cast in place concrete containment pit, new process sewer, new process containment sewer, new cast in place concrete truck pavement and containment systems, guard rails, misc. steel, lighting, asphalt pavement repairs, and site utility upgrades. Harbour also installed 3- #8 turnouts, 2- #10 turnouts and 3500 FT of 115lbs. Harbour created phasing plans to accomplish all work on site  while creating no interference to Stepan’s daily production demands.
