Transfer Building and Ticket Office Construction

Waste Management (WM) hired Harbor as the design-builder to construct two separate buildings: a transfer building that receives waste material to be transferred to larger disposal haulers and the ticket office, which receives and weighs the haulers. A boardwalk surrounds the detention area with signage highlighting the site’s sustainable features.

Sustainability and Certification

Harbour Contractors built WM’s transfer station to USGBC’s compliance and was awarded LEED Certification to the Gold Level.
