Oak Brook Municipal Construction Expertise

Harbour provided construction management services for the 32,000 SF Oak Brook Municipal Complex and Fire Station project, including renovations to the existing facility and the old firehouse’s demolition. This project was built in conjunction with the Oak Brook Public Library project.

This combined facility helped to unify the approach to public safety and ultimately saved the Village of Oak Brook roughly ~40% in overall construction cost savings.

Adding to the challenge of constructing the multi-department municipal center, Harbour Contractors built the new facility. At the same time, both the Fire Department and the Police Department remained fully operational and integrated with the new facility as the building was completed safely around them.

An additional notable project in the Oak Brook area we have built is the Oakbrook Terrace Police Station. This facility was built with sustainability in mind to LEED Silver Certification, though they did not apply to the USGBC.
