Chevron Phillips S.I.T. Expansion (Orange)
OVERVIEW
Harbour served as the general contractor for the Chevron Phillips S.I.T. Capacity Expansion Project in Orange County, Texas. The facility sits on a 19-acre site and accommodates 19,987 feet of storage track. The project included an increase in capacity for an additional 250 railcars.
The site development included underground drainage systems, a lime-stabilized subgrade with a biaxial geogrid, and site utilities (including communication and CCTV), which were brought to the site from within the existing plant. Additionally, aggregate services roads and retaining were added during this project. Harbour also added a retention pond and pump station to the S.I.T. Yard.
