The Design/Build approach results in a project where details are orchestrated from day (1) through completion of the facility/structure. With Design/Build, the Owner is assured a single point of contact and responsibility for the design, construction and related project cost.
Harbour approaches Design/Build by establishing a working partnership with the Client/Owner throughout the project. Laying the groundwork in the early stages, the team explores the functional requirements of the facility and as the building concept takes shape, a schematic design is developed to delineate the basic space allocations, traffic patterns and other essential elements of the project.
By closely coordinating the design, value engineering and estimating activities, the owner receives enormous dividends in the form of an appropriate and functional design, a guaranteed cost prior to construction, and an accelerated schedule.
