New Tazewell Transfer Facility

Waste Management has awarded Harbour Contractor the contract for the General Contractor for their newest Transfer Station in East Peoria The project consist of the development of a 10 acre site and the erection of 43,000 Sq Ft building. New utilities will be brought to the site for the building including a new well dedicated to the Fire Protection System Relocation of and existing ticket station and new scales are included in the project The project is conducted under the guide lines of the USGBC LEEDS program. Waste Management is anticipating a Gold rating, from the USGBC, at the completion of the project in the Fall of 07
